In an effort to help people avoided the dreaded black screen of death, antivirus software company Avast compiled a list of apps with the biggest impact on your battery life – both when running in the background automatically and when you open them yourself.
They were tested on Android phones, but the findings can be broadly applied to the apps that are also available on iPhones.
