The moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived. TLC just shared the first trailer for the upcoming Trading Spaces reboot. Even better: we have a premiere date! Set your DVR for April 7 at 9 p.m. EST/8 p.m. CST to catch the first episode of the highly-anticipated season.Not familiar with Trading Spaces? Allow us to fill you in (and get you excited). It was one of the first-ever home reality television shows from the early aughts, leading the charge for some of our favorite shows today (we see you, Fixer Upper). Here's how it works: two sets of neighbors are paired up with a designer and are given $2,000 to make over a room in each other's homes. Sometimes the results are shockingly gorgeous and sometimes they're, well, not.We already know not every reveal from the new season has a happy ending, but that just makes our excitement for the show even greater.
