Country music superstar Dolly Parton has put out a casting call for extras to appear in her upcoming series on the streaming service, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.The gig will pay $75 for eight hours, and producers are looking to fill a variety of roles.According to AJC, these are the casting descriptions for each part: "For the WWII soldiers, producers want Caucasian men between the ages of 18 to 26 who are clean shaven and willing to get a period haircut. "For 1940s townsfolk, producers are looking for Caucasian men and women ages 18 and up. Men should be clean shaven and willing to get a period haircut. "For war amputees, producers want Caucasian men between the ages of 18 to 26 who are real amputees. Again, they must be clean shaven and willing to get a period haircut. "The diner staff role will consist of African-American men age 35 and up, who are clean shaven and willing to get a period cut. "And lastly, the facial expressions part asks for Caucasian men age 35 and up to portray 'stone-faced yet reactionary citizens.'"Depending on the role, filming will take place from Sept. 11 to 25. Anyone who fits the casting requirements can email submissions@catrettcasting for a chance to appear in an episode of the show. A link was also posted on Facebook.In June, Parton confirmed she was partnering with Netflix for an anthology series based on her songs."As a songwriter, I have always enjoyed telling stories through my music,” she said. “I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros. TV for their incredible support.”A premiere date or name for the project have not been announced, but an IMDB page for a show in development is titled "These Old Bones," which shares the same name as Parton's 2002 song.
