If you didn’t get enough Dolly Parton at the 2019 Grammys (because, really, how can you ever have enough Dolly?) you’re in luck: The country legend is coming to our TVs again soon for an eight-episode series.
"Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings" will premiere on Netflix in 2019, and between the star-studded cast and what we know will be an amazing soundtrack (have you heard what she did for "Dumplin’"?) we are seriously excited for the new show. Here’s everything we know so far about Parton’s latest debut.
What is "Heartstrings" about?
Each episode will be based on one of Parton’s iconic songs, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Parton will introduce each installment herself, Deadline reports, and will explain the meaning behind the hit that inspired what viewers are about to watch. They will all be stand-alone stories, though, and each will have its own cast.
