Anum Siddiqui is thrilled to bring her passion for story telling home to New Orleans.

Anum joins the WDSU team as a morning reporter.

Anum grew up in Jefferson Parish and received her journalism degree from Loyola University of New Orleans. She started her journalism career in the capital city, Baton Rouge. Her love for reporting started while she grew up watching WDSU. Years later to become an intern and now the morning reporter. She is committed to telling stories that need to be heard in her community.

Anum takes pride her in South-Asian culture. She cares deeply about her Pakistani roots and bringing her community together. Anum’s free time is spent in the gym and finding new places to eat in the Big Easy.
