Track rain, storms with WDSU radar online, on your apps
When rain and storms move into the area, you can track them with the WDSU radar.
The radar gives viewers a look at current and future weather conditions in Louisiana. It also provides information on advisories and warnings that are in effect.
Viewers can check out the radar online or on the WDSU news and weather apps. All apps are free for download in the Apple and Android stores.
If you're looking for the radar on your WDSU news app, tap the hamburger menu in the top, left corner. Tap "weather" in the list that appears from the side.
The WDSU radar allows viewers to zoom in and out to track storms in the area. There are options to view the temperature, road weather and precipitation.

To view the extra features on the WDSU radar, tap or click the hamburger menu in the bottom right corner. A pop-up window will appear, listing the other features viewers can use to track weather.
If watches or advisories are issued, color-coded boxes will appear on the map to indicate whether it's a thunderstorm, tornado or flood alert.
