A woman spent Saturday night playing pickleball with members of the Pittsburgh Steelers, but she didn't know it.It’s something Meg Burkardt says happened by chance.“I pulled up, parked, and I saw the two guys playing singles and one was sitting on the bench,” she told sister station WTAE.Burkardt is a Pittsburgh attorney who happens to love pickleball. She said she went to the park just looking for a pickup game. She had no idea she was jumping in to play with three Pittsburgh Steelers — T.J. Watt, Minkah Fitzpatrick and Alex Highsmith.“Certainly I noticed that they were all so fit, but it didn't occur to me that they were professional athletes,” she said.Burkhardt said once folks started asking for photos with the players, she realized what was going on.Her daughter shared the picture on Twitter where even Watt admitted he had his hands full trying to take down Meg.“We were talking smack the whole time and teasing each other,” she said.Watt retweeted the post and wrote "Meg was serving the HEAT! We had trouble all day." His older brother, JJ Watt, also retweeted the post and gave him a hard time writing "explain yourself."While the four played a few games together, it was the last one that has Burkardt wearing her Minkah Fitzpatrick jersey proudly.“Minkah and I won,” she said. “It was a blast and it was really fun. They're just great ambassadors for the city of Pittsburgh. It was a pleasure and it made me feel proud that these guys are representing us in the sports world.”
