New Orleans chef says city lacked vegan options, so she created them
You have everything you need. Yes, I do. What are you making today? I'm gonna be making my cornbread and cabbage fritters. It's *** nice little habanero pepper, jam, nice habanero pepper jam sauce is like one of my signature sauces that I do for my corn bread and cabbage fritters. I saw where New Orleans was with their cuisine. Everything is here. This is the Hospitality Mecca, but they were missing uh *** unique vegan flair in balls, briskey, you know, bacon mac and cheese. Like why not? So sauce. That is my new endeavor that I've been doing. Currently. We had, we had *** great number of sauces that we use for everything that we did for coalesce goods. So I thought it'd be *** great idea to just implement *** little bit of the things that we did for that venture to, to this one. Perfect. Oh, so this is the magic sauce. Yes, that's the habanero pepper jam. All right. This is, we are here that back from the habanero. Not overwhelming. I love it. So, you've done this before? Yes, I have, I have. This is actually one of the dishes that I started when I started doing pop ups here in New Orleans sold out every time, every time everything up to this point is completely vegan inside. Everything is from the sauce down to the beginning. Yeah. All right. Cool. All right. Yeah. She all right. It's done.
