NOPD officers are looking for leads in a late-night deadly shooting.

CHAD, OVER TO YOU. ALL RIGHT, DEJA SOUNDS GOOD. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. AT 503 THIS MORNING, NYPD OFFICERS INVESTIGATING TWO SEPARATE OVERNIGHT SHOOTINGS, ONE OF THOSE INCIDENTS TURNING DEADLY. THE FIRST SHOOTING HAPPENED JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT ON ALABAMA STREET. THAT’S IN THE SEABROOK NEIGHBORHOOD WHERE ONE PERSON WAS SHOT. NO WORD ON THAT VICTIM’S CONDITION. A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATER, OVER ON LOYOLA AVENUE, ANOTHER VICTIM WAS SHOT TO DEATH IN THE WAREHOUSE DISTRICT. BOTH INVESTIGATIONS ARE ONGOING AND AUTHORITIES ARE ASKING ANYONE WIT

NOPD officers are looking for leads in a late-night deadly shooting.

The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that happened Thursday morning between the Warehouse District and Central Business District. The shooting happened in the 1000 block of Loyola Avenue around midnight. The man was found on the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS took the man to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victim and determine official cause of death upon completion of the autopsy and notification of the family.  Anyone with additional information that can aid in this investigation is urged to contact NOPD Homicide Section detectives at 504-658-5300.
