Three candidates qualified for a House seat in Tangipahoa Parish based in Ponchatoula. The seat was held by state Rep. Bill Wheat, who is vacating his seat to run for the state senate. Republicans Michael Chatellier, Kimberly Landry Coates, and Braville J. LeBlanc, all qualified for the seat. The candidates shared their plans on how to solve the insurance crises, and their plans on how to bring more business development to their district.
