A second Prime Day event comes the second week of October with Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, but Amazon won’t be alone with holding a major sales event. Multiple retailers have announced that they will be introducing their own deals events for shoppers in the wake of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days announcement. Now this isn’t surprising as back in July, when Amazon held its annual Prime Day event, major retailers like Walmart and Target were holding their own sales events exclusively for members of their respective subscription base. The difference this time around is that for places like Walmart, the deals that are coming will be open to everybody, while Prime Big Deal Days will be exclusive to Amazon Prime subscribers.
