"Piglet" has since been adopted by State Rep. Lauren Ventrella. The pardoning will take place Wednesday at the Louisiana State Capitol at 11 a.m.

Louisiana Lt. Gov. Billy Nungesser is officially pardoning a baby pig that was rescued after being tossed like a football along a Mardi Gras parade route.
