Report: Saints All-Pro OT Ryan Ramczyk may not play in 2024 due to knee injury
WE’RE APPROACHING 515. IT’S A WDSU FIRST WARNING. WEATHER IMPACT DAY. DAMON. SOME SLICK AND WET ROAD CONDITIONS OUT THERE. AND FOR SOME FOLKS OUT THERE, THE RAIN CONTINUES TO FALL. IT DOES. AND IT’S BEEN FALLING PRETTY MUCH ALL NIGHT LONG. IT’S IT’S NOT AS INTENSE AS AS IT’S BEEN DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS, BUT STILL SOME POCKETS OF HEAVY RAINFALL ARE AROUND. LET ME SHOW YOU THE VISIBILITY OUTSIDE, BECAUSE AS YOU CAN SEE, THAT MAY BE AN ISSUE FOR YOU AS YOU HEAD OUT THE DOOR. THOSE NUMBERS ARE PRETTY LOW IN SOME PARTS OF THE AREA, ESPECIALLY OVER TOWARDS THE LAKEFRONT WHERE THE VISIBILITY IS 1.7 MILES, 1.3 OVER IN BOOTHVILLE AND THREE MILES OF VISIBILITY OVER IN HOUMA. THIS MORNING. OTHERWISE, THREE MILES VISIBILITY AT ARMSTRONG INTERNATIONAL WHEN FOUR MILES OVER IN SLIDELL. SO I SUSPECT THESE NUMBERS WILL CONTINUE TO GO UP AND DOWN AS WE GO THROUGH THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. BUT TAKE A LOOK AT THE NATIONAL PICTURE AND YOU CAN SEE THE ACTIVITY THAT WE HAVE HERE IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. IT’S ALL ASSOCIATED WITH THE SAME SYSTEM THAT’S MOVING ACROSS THE COUNTRY. AND THE RAINFALL AND THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY STRETCHES ALL THE WAY INTO THE GREAT LAKES STATES RIGHT NOW. AND THAT’S HEADED INTO THE OHIO VALLEY AS WELL. AND ALL OF THIS IS HEADED TOWARDS THE EASTERN SEABOARD OF THE UNITED STATES FOR US, THE SHOWERS AND STORMS, THE WORST OF IT IS MOVING ACROSS PARTS OF MISSISSIPPI AND ALABAMA. RIGHT NOW. WE’VE GOT JUST SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS IN OUR AREA, AND THE COLD FRONT THAT YOU SEE THERE IS GOING TO BE PASSING THROUGH OR MAKING ITS WAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH OUR AREA LATER ON THIS MORNING, POSSIBLY AFTERNOON. BUT THE WINDS ARE STILL FOR US DOWN ON THE SOUTH SHORE ANYWAY. THEY’RE OUT OF THE SOUTH, BLOWING AT 26MPH AT THE LAKEFRONT. 15 IN BELLE CHASE, 17 MILE PER HOUR WINDS DOWN IN HOUMA RIGHT NOW, AND THE WINDS ARE TRYING TO SHIFT AROUND ON THE NORTH SHORE. RIGHT NOW. THE WINDS HAVE BEEN GUSTING PRETTY SIGNIFICANTLY DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. NOW, 26 MILE PER HOUR WIND GUSTS IN BELLE CHASE, 25, IN KENNER AND OVER IN HOUMA, AND 20 MILE PER HOUR WIND GUSTS OVER IN GULFPORT THIS MORNING. HERE’S A LOOK AT THE THE RADAR SHOWING YOU THE RAIN THAT WE HAVE THE MOST INTENSE STUFF IS TAKING PLACE OR HAS BEEN TAKING PLACE, HAD BEEN TAKING PLACE ACROSS PARTS OF PEARL RIVER AND HANCOCK COUNTIES. NOW IT’S JUST SOME SCATTERED RAINFALL FOR THE MOST PART, BOTH NORTH AND SOUTH OF THE LAKE. AND SOME INDICATIONS OF SOME OF SOME SHEAR TAKING PLACE WITH SOME OF THOSE STORMS THAT ARE MOVING FROM UM, HATTIESBURG UP TOWARDS ENTERPRISE THIS MORNING. SO IF YOU’RE HEADED IN THAT DIRECTION, JUST A BIG HEADS UP THERE. OTHERWISE, DOWN HERE ON THE SOUTH SHORE, IT’S JUST SOME SCATTERED RAINFALL THAT’S MOVING ACROSS THE AREA AS RIGHT NOW AT THIS TIME. AND YOU CAN SEE PRETTY CLEARLY WHERE THAT FRONTAL BOUNDARY IS WITH THE TEMPERATURES ON THE NORTH SHORE IN THE 50S, MID TO UPPER 50S AND SOME 50S. NOW DOWN HERE ON THE SOUTH SHORE, SOME LOW 60S AS WELL, BUT STILL 73, IN GALLIANO AND IN GRAND ISLE. BUT AS THAT FRONTAL BOUNDARY MOVES THROUGH THE AREA, THOSE TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE DROPPING AS WELL. BY 8 A.M., ALL THE ACTIVITY, THE WORST OF IT IS TO THE EAST OF US LEAVING BEHIND A FEW SPOTTY SHOWERS OUT THERE. TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 50S TO THE LOW 60S THIS AFTERNOON. SKIES CLEAR OUT VERY NICELY. TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO THE UPPER 70S FOR YOUR AFTERNOON HIGHS TODAY. AND IT LOOKS LIKE WE’RE GOING TO WAKE TOMORROW MORNING INSTEAD OF TEMPERATURES IN THE 60S AND THE 70S. THEY’LL BE IN THE 40S AND THE 50S FOR YOUR WEDNESDAY MORNING WITH THOSE NORTHERLY WINDS WITH US THEN LOOKS LIKE SOME OF THAT CLOUD COVER IS GOING TO START ROLLING IN ON YOUR WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON, MAINLY FOR THE NORTH SHORE. AND THEN ON THURSDAY WE’LL WAKE TO 40S AND 50S ONCE AGAIN WITH WITH YOUR AFTERNOON HIGHS FOR THURSDAY AFTERNOON IN THE UPPER 60S TO THE LOW 70S. AND THEN THE TEMPERATURES ON THURSDAY NIGHT FALLING INTO THE 50S, HOW MUCH RAINFALL ARE WE TALKING ABOUT FROM YESTERDAY TO TODAY AT 10 P.M.? WELL, YOU CAN SEE THE BIGGEST NUMBERS. ALMOST TWO INCHES IN BOGALUSA AND AN INCH AND A HALF OVER IN HAMMOND. OTHERWISE, MUCH LOWER NUMBERS ACROSS THE REST OF SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. SO WE’RE GOING TO WATCH AS THE RAIN CONTINUES TO MAKE ITS WAY ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AGAIN, LESS INTENSE HERE IN THE AREA THAN WHAT WE’VE HAD FOR MOST OF THE NIGHT LAST NIGHT. HERE’S A QUICK LOOK AT YOUR WDSU FIRST WARNING, SEVEN DAY FORECAST AND AS YOU CAN SEE, THAT 30% CHANCE IS IN THE MORNING HOURS. OTHERWISE, I THINK THE AFTERNOON IS GOING TO BE PRETTY NICE. NORMAL HIGH. THIS TIME OF YEAR IS LIKE 74 DEGREES. SO FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS THE TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE JUST ABOUT WHERE THEY SHOULD BE AT THIS TIME OF YEAR. BUT FOR YOUR EASTER WEEKEND, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, SOME MOSTLY SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND TEMPERATUR
