The New Orleans Saints regular season schedule was released Wednesday night, and there are several high profile games this year. The biggest game on the schedule will be when the New Orleans Saints play the Denver Broncos on October 17 on Thursday Night Football. This will mark the return of Former New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton to the Dome. This time, he will be on the opposite side of the field. Another big game will be when LSU star quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels will return to Louisiana for his first season in the NFL. The Washington Commander and Saints will play on December 15. Daniels was drafted as the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. The Saints will also play reigning Super Bowl champions Kansas City Chiefs. They will travel to Arrowhead Stadium for the first time since the 2016 season. That game will be on October 7 on Monday Night Football. Tight-end Travis Kelce is currently dating Taylor Swift, who has multiple concerts scheduled in New Orleans in October, which falls during Kelce's 2024 season. The Saints will play the Las Vegas Raiders on December 29. This is quarterback Derek Carr's former team. Carr started his career with the Raiders in 2014 and stayed with the franchise through 2022. Following a dramatic exit where he caused a social media firestorm by giving running back Jamal Williams his only touchdown of the season on what was supposed to be a kneel-down play in the final game of the season, quarterback Jamies Winston will return to the Dome with the Cleveland Browns. The Saints will also face rivals the Dallas Cowboys, which is the first meeting they have had since 2021. From 2006 to 2015, these two franchises played against each other seven times. The Saints final prime-time game will take place in Green Bay against the Packers on December 23 on Monday Night Football.The Saints will face the Atlanta Falcons in Atlanta on September 29 and the host the Dirty Birds on November 10.The Saints will welcome in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 13, and face the Bucs to close out the regular season in Tampa on January 4 or January 5.
