New Orleans Saints enlist WDSU Chief Meteorologist Emeritus Margaret Orr to announce schedule release
The New Orleans Saints have released their regular season schedule with the help of some legends, including WDSU Chief Meteorologist Emeritus Margaret Orr. The highly-anticipated schedule release was announced with a video featuring Orr, Alvin Kamara, Drew Brees, Ian Rappaport, Mickey Loomis, Kay Adams, Shannon Sharpe, Dustin Poirier and Derek Carr in a tongue-in-cheek bit. The bit started with the Saints sharing a series of NFL logos on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, with the message, "Our 2024 opponents if they were NFL Logos." An X user by the name of Hal Jenkins shared a message criticizing the move, calling for the "social media intern" to be fired. The Saints then responded with "okay fine," and released the video, which showed the Saints conducting a series of interviews to fill the position. Orr is featured as a possible candidate for the position, giving a flawless forecast, but falling short to getting the job. Drew Brees also was passed up as a candidate, with the interviewers saying he lacked experience. The hysterical video ends with the full schedule release, which you can see here.
