In 1987, a Nebraska man's family reunion snowballed into the construction of "Carhenge" — a playful, modern twist on Stonehenge.
Stonehenge is majestic and awe-inspiring, its origins and purpose shrouded in mystery. Carhenge is exactly what it sounds like, an homage to the ancient monument with vintage American automobiles instead of stones.
Both structures share the same dimensions, with Carhenge's precise car placements mimicking the iconic arrangement of Stonehenge's stones.
