All right. Well, I think um *** lot of people were talking about Brandon in going to the Atlanta Hawks or Deonte Murray and maybe somebody else they got Deonte Murray did not have to give up Brandon Ingram. Uh What do you think about this move uh to get Murray on this team? Yeah, it, it ends up being *** heck of *** move by the Pelicans to pull off this deal, like you said, without getting Brandon Ingram, *** guy, Deonte Murray who they targeted going back to the, the trade deadline in February who they really wanted. They saw as *** guy with *** big body who can play with guys like Trey Murphy and, uh, and Herb Jones being those switch rumor defenders, *** guy who can handle the ball, uh somebody who can, you know, create late in games. Remember this is *** team that was just downright bad in, in fourth quarter situations last year, threw *** li or threw away *** lot of games and clutch situations. They feel like having *** guy like Deonte Murray will ease some of that burden on Zion Williamson allowed them to organize things and to pull it off. We're pretty much just giving up Larry Nats Daniels the two first round picks. Uh, that's not bad at all. Um, how does it fit with him? Does he fit in this lineup if Brandon Ingram is on this team? Does it work? Yeah, I think the big question is figuring out who's gonna start in the backcourt, who's coming off the bench. Uh, I, I think, you know, as of right now, my guess would maybe be Deonte Herb Jones as your 12 CJ coming off the bench. Uh, but I think that's *** good thing, right? Uh, that's *** good problem to have having too many options back there. Uh, trying, having to figure out how you finish games, who finishes games. Uh, but yeah, I, I think it's *** big lift for this Pelicans team. I think one thing is for sure is that Deonte Murray is gonna have to show that he's, you know, improved versus the, the defender. He was last year. He's *** guy who kind of has *** reputation of being *** big time, big time defender, but wasn't that necessarily last year and Atlanta was more of an offensive burden now playing on *** team where he's got *** whole lot of scores around him. I think his mission is gonna be to play efficient basketball, to play defense score in transition. And I think, uh, him being able to take that step back, uh, will allow him to do some of the things where his strengths are in his game rather than, you know, putting up *** whole bunch of shots. Does this mean that D I stays or do you think he is still on the trade block? I think the big thing is, is they gotta figure out what the contract situation is. I think it was *** good sign, uh hearing from David Griffin after the draft saying that both sides feel really good. He said that Brandon wants to stay in New Orleans. He's, he basically said that, hey, when two sides wanna be together, they'll figure something out. Uh So I think signs are pointing to B I being in New Orleans. Uh but still, they've got to figure out what the contract extension is gonna be, what it looks like, how much less is gonna be than the max deal. And if not, uh then they're probably gonna get back in the trade talks. But I think this deal is, is somewhat of an indication that they feel pretty good about where they are with B I. Is it tough to lose both Larry and Dyson? Yeah, no doubt. I mean, I it, it goes into what we've continued to talk about the, the situation at center, right where Jonas Lais is *** free agent and how Larry Nance is going. So this team literally has uh one center on the roster and he's *** 19 year old kid from Baylor who just started playing basketball when he was 16. So they got some things to figure out at the center position. Dyson Daniels, I think was already one of the best on ball defenders in the NBA. So losing that I think is gonna be big. It is gonna put even more pressure on Herb Jones. But, uh, I mean, let's be real. We're talking about getting *** guy who made *** ALLST star team not too long ago and giving up two guys off of your bench and *** couple of first round picks, uh, that may end up being in the twenties. So I think, uh, you gotta be really happy if you're the Pelicans to land somebody like that to boost your depth, uh, to give you more options in the backcourt. And now the big question is, you know, what is Deonte Murray's mentality gonna be like coming into this situation?
