Galveston roads flooded after Hurricane Beryl makes landfall
Hurricane Beryl made landfall in Texas Monday morning, bringing widespread flooding to Galveston, Texas. Streets in Galveston were inundated with water. The National Hurricane Center said parts of coastal Texas experienced life-threatening storm surge and flash flooding was reported across the Southeastern part of the state.
