The Republican National Convention will commence on Monday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the Republican Party will formally nominate Donald Trump as its presidential candidate.The event will continue as scheduled after the shooting at former President Donald Trump's rally Saturday evening, which is being investigated as an assassination attempt.On Sunday, the tech crews did final checks on lights and sounds. The lights were bright on the floor, with the stage sitting massively in the middle. Gates and barricades blocked roads and walkway paths to change the flow of traffic through checkpoints.Every four years, Democrats and Republicans hold their conventions in the summer to formally nominate their presidential and vice-presidential candidates.Presidential nominations are not the only thing that happens at these conventions.
