Delegates and attendees from around the country can take a break and relax or get really competitive while enjoying the sunshine. That wasn't the only way people were connecting. From color-coordinated outfits to headgear and handmade dresses, fashion-made statements.Sara Brady, a political statement dressmaker, shared her inspiration for creating a new dress in less than three days. "You know, after what happened this last weekend, and then seeing (the picture of Donald Trump at the Pennsylvania rally), it was so legendary and iconic. I was like, that’s got to go on a dress, and I put it on the dress," Brady said.Vendors at the RNC also offered statement pieces, including a $600 pair of golden Trump shoes. The shoes, available within the security perimeter, have already seen at least one pair sold.In addition to fashion, attendees could also explore a piece of U.S. history. A replica of the "Little White Schoolhouse," the birthplace of the GOP located just 90 minutes from Milwaukee, was on display. The replica was built by local high school students.Mandy Kimes, Ripon Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, spoke about the significance of the replica. "We find that this story speaks to everyone, whether they’re really involved in politics or not at all. It’s really a story of the underdog," said Kimes.Among the attendees was one of the youngest people on the convention floor, Anthony Bonna Junior. While he was fast asleep from bouncing up and down during cheers, his parents said he's destined to be a future president.
