You know, we keep talking about how deep the Saints secondary is gonna be this season, Marshawn Lattimore Paulson, Nabo, Alan Taylor and the latest guy rookie Kool aid mckenry. I mean, the Saints liked him enough to move up to go get him in the second round and through nine training camp practices for Kool Aid so far so good, just trying to get familiar with everything um getting used to how things are done around here um as in this great organization that I'm in. So just, you know, trying to feel things out and learn how to do things the right way in the Saints way. And the Saints Way has mckendry already feeling comfortable and the Saints defense, *** lot of the the schemes uh we did at Alabama. So I'm very familiar with the schemes that we are doing and the um the positions they got me playing corner and nickel. I'm very familiar with those um techniques and those schemes in general, even though he didn't have many snaps at the slot corner position. Kool Aid is very familiar with that position and that's because of his time at Alabama when I was in Alabama. I practiced it *** lot, took *** lot of reps in practice and just like I'm doing here now. So me and played in the game really don't have no snaps in the game. Probably like *** couple of. But, um, I did *** lot of reps and practice. Um, no matter was it with the tools when I was going with the ones at Cornell, Alabama. So I have *** lot of reps and just doing it just knowing what to do. And when he needs help, Kool Aid wisely goes to the guys who've been there, done that, including Ate Taylor. Kool Aid is super smart. Um You know, he's *** technician for sure. And I think the biggest thing for me I like about him is he's willing to, to learn and he's open to learning like he asks questions and whenever the older guys are guys who's done at *** high level, speak, you can tell he's actually listening. Um And then he takes it out there and he, he applies it to practice every single day. So, you know, just told, I just told him keep chopping the wood man. Um And you know, this is *** physical game. So when his opportunity comes, go out there and uh you know, seize that moment, everything that they say I take in. I I don't treat even the smallest question like he's, I treat everything like like it's the same. So I'm just very thankful for those bits that I have in the room. Now, Kool Aid was dealing with *** foot injury during the draft process and throughout some of the off season, but he said he started to feel 100% near the end of mandatory mini camp in Irvine, California Sharif Isak W DS Unions.
