All right, joining me now is Saints defensive line coach Todd Grantham coached last year. The team had 34 sacks as *** whole 22 coming from the defensive line. Why do you feel much better about the production this year? Yeah, I think the first thing is, is obviously sacks is *** stat people can look at, but really, it's about affecting the quarterback and, uh, getting him off the spot and that's something that we're working hard to improve upon. I think it's important that each guy individually kind of looks at, you know, what they do. Well, um, obviously you gotta get *** combination of guys that can come off the edge and have the ability to go speed to power, but then guys that can rush inside and give us *** little push, go back to chase the first time I saw him. I was kind of an, *** moment when you look at him, he's built like *** Greek God and feels like he's living up to it so far. Yeah, I mean, Chase has done everything we've asked. The guy is really coachable. I enjoy being around the guy. Um, he's strong at the point of attack. He's obviously got some, some speed and power in his rush. And I think it's just *** matter of, of fine tuning him. Uh getting him acclimated to our system, uh getting him around our guys and letting him be with our guys in difficult situations in training camp because that's when you build that bond, uh you know, to play together and play as *** team and uh really excited where he's at and, uh, look forward to continuing to see his progress. Cam entering his 14th season, see him moving around along that defensive line, two sacks last year. Of course, he was injured. Do you feel like this year goes *** little bit better for him? There's no doubt. I mean, Cam's *** pro, I mean, um, you know, he's one of those guys that is gonna be *** hall of Fame guy one day and, um, when you look at him, you know, he's *** little bit lighter this year, uh, obviously very healthy and, um, and, uh, from his movement skills, um, I like where he's at. I think it's just *** matter of what combination of, of guys gives us the best opportunity to, to play the situation at hand, whether it's run or pass. I appreciate your time. All right. Saints defensive line coach Todd Grantham, back to you.
