The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting that took place Saturday morning in the French Quarter. Detectives say they were called around 3:55 a.m. about a person shot at the intersection of St. Louis and Bourbon Street. When EMS arrived to the scene they transported the man to the local hospital where he was later pronounced dead. It's unclear what led to the shooting or if anyone else was injured. This incident remains under investigation.
