Seabrook Bridge reopens after monthslong closure
TYPICALLY USE THE SEABROOK BRIDGE, WHICH HAS BEEN OUT OF COMMISSION FOR A WHILE. IT IS NOW BACK OPEN. IT HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN FOR MONTHS BECAUSE OF MAINTENANCE WORK. INITIALLY CLOSED LAST SPRING AFTER GETTING HIT BY A VESSEL, BUT HAD TO BE CLOSED AGAIN THIS SPRING AFTER THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION NOTICED ADDITIONAL WEAR TO THE SUPPORT STRUCTURE. WE HAD A DESIGN TEAM THAT HAD TO PUT THIS REPAIR DOWN ON PAPER. WE HAD A CONSTRUCTION TEAM THAT ACTUALLY HAD TO CONSTRUCT THIS REPAIR, SO IT REALLY TAKES A MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAM OF OF INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND DEDICATION TO, TO, TO GET TO WHERE WE ARE TODAY.
