WE ARE TOLD THAT THE VICTIM WAS SITTING OUTSIDE OF HIS HOME WHEN SOMEONE IN A BLACK HOODIE AND SKI MASK APPROACHED HIM AND FIRED A GUN. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE VICTIM WASN’T HURT AND MANAGED TO GET AWAY. WE’RE TOLD THAT THEY SEARCHED THE AREA BUT DIDN’T FIND THE SHOOTER, BUT A REWARD IS BEING OFFERED FOR ANY INFORMATIO

The Houma Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened Thursday night. Around 11 p.m., officers were called to the 400 block of Levron Street, where they found the victim of a shooting.Police say the victim was sitting outside his home when a person wearing a black hoodie and black ski mask began shooting at him. The victim was not injured. The shooter ran away from the scene and is still being sought by Houma police.
