Arielle Brumfield joined the WDSU team in September of 2022.

She is excited to live and work in New Orleans after spending three and a half years working in Bend, Oregon as a reporter and morning anchor at KTVZ NewsChannel 21.

While in Central Oregon, Arielle covered major events like severe wildfires and disaster recovery, homelessness, and crime.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Arielle is excited to be closer to family who reside here in New Orleans and in Mississippi. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University as a political science and African American studies double major, journalism minor.

In her spare time, Arielle enjoys hiking, eating, and online shopping aka her guilty pleasure.
