Mike Neelly is the president and general manager of WDSU-TV, Hearst Television. He was appointed to the post in October 2021.

Prior to New Orleans, Neelly was president and general manager of WDSU’s sister station, 16WAPT-TV in Jackson, Mississippi. Before Jackson, Neelly spent nearly 18 years working for Hearst TV stations including WLWT in Cincinnati, OH and WLKY in Louisville, KY. Neelly’s career in broadcast has also afforded him stops in Fort Myers, FL, and Portland, ME.

Neelly was born in Meridian, MS. and received his degree in English from the University of Mississippi.

Neelly currently lives in New Orleans with his wife. His three grown children enjoy visiting in the Crescent City throughout the year.
