New Orleans Saints fans are hoping new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak will be the person who takes this offense to the next level.The offense looked goof through all the OTAs and mandatory minicamp practices but Kubiak understands there's work to be done once training camp kicks off."There is no pass rush really, we're all in underwear out here so when we get to training camp, we put pads on, you know guys that maybe you didn't notice here the last couple weeks they're going to start showing up and the other way around too. That's what we tell our guys, it's real football come the fall," Kubiak said.Derek Carr has been picking up on Kubiak's style off football during OTAs and minicamp.Kubiak has been impressed with the progress Carr has made in his offense."No surprise that he's been able to handle it well, he's done a good job, he's exceeded expectations but like I said with everybody else, he also has a growth mindset and he's not satisfied."The 33-year old quarterback entering his 11th season in the NFL understands there's room to get better before the season kicks off."I got a check list of things that I still want to fine tune before training camp but I feel very comfortable with where I'm at but that's the problem you never want to feel comfortable, so I'm going to keep pushing myself and keep grinding." Carr said.The Saints return to action for their first day of training camp on Wednesday, July 24 in Irvine, Calif.
