The New Orleans Police Department has arrested a man accused of shooting and killing a man outside of a bar in St. Roch. NOPD says Erick Garrison has been arrested in connection with the shooting earlier this month in the 3100 block of St. Roch.The shooting killed Brandon Hayward, 32.Hayward had just parked in the neutral ground area along St. Roch when witnesses said he was about to head inside a nearby nightclub for a birthday party.He stopped to greet a friend when he was shot.Garrison was arrested on Thursday and is facing one count of second-degree murder. He was arrested in Texas and is being held as a fugitive. Anyone with additional information that can assist in this investigation is asked to call detectives at 504-658-5300.
